Our journey didn't begin with windows and doors; it began with a lifelong passion for construction. For over 40 years, our family-backed operation has been deeply rooted in the South African construction industry, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the country. With a unique blend of South African grit and a deep appreciation for precision German engineering — thanks to a shared family heritage — we have always believed that a building is only as good as the elements that protect it.
The European Chapter: 15 Years at the Forefront
How did we narrow our focus to high-performance fenestration? The answer lies in Europe. A few years ago, we took a bold step onto the international stage by buying into Urzędowski, an established window and door manufacturing company in Poland. For 15 years, we didn't just invest from afar — we actively immersed ourselves in the rigorous standards, advanced materials, and strict thermal-efficiency requirements of the European market.
Navigating the highly competitive European sector taught us everything there is to know about precision manufacturing, durability, and architectural design. When we parted ways with the European operation during the COVID-19 pandemic, we realised we were holding onto an invaluable asset: 15 years of specialised global expertise and an elite technical skill set. The long-term vision was always to bring it home.
Bringing the Vision Home
Looking at the South African architectural landscape and the critical energy crisis, we knew we had to bring this concept home. Our homes and commercial buildings face diverse, demanding climates — and with growing energy awareness, they deserve the absolute best in security, insulation, and contemporary aesthetics.
Today, we are channelling over four decades of local construction experience and more than a decade of specialised European window manufacturing into EuroFenster — a subsidiary of BMK Electro Mechanical Construction (Pty) Ltd. We aren't just importing products; we are bringing a proven European skill set, world-class engineering, and sophisticated designs home to South Africa — tailored specifically to withstand and elevate our local environment.

EuroFenster holds the exclusive distribution rights for aluplast® IDEAL Series profiles across Southern Africa — meaning every profile we supply is genuine, factory-direct, and comes with the full support of aluplast's R&D and certification infrastructure.
